San Francisco Photo Essay
I took hundreds of photos during my week in San Francisco. You will be seeing a lot of them in my posts about specifics sites and activities, but I still had several leftover that didn’t quite fit anywhere. Here are some of my favorites that I feel capture the beauty and personality of San Francisco quite well.
What’s San Francisco without the famous street car? I rode this baby to Fisherman’s Wharf and back and was even able to snag an outside seat so I could do the classic hanging off the side pose.
I adored how the steep streets of San Francisco created such beautiful views.
These next few shots were just from a walk my friend and I took with her dogs. Apparently it’s a popular spot for dog walkers. Not a bad view to take in every day.
Perhaps it’s because I did not grow up near the ocean, but I found myself fascinated by all the photo opportunities involving life near the water.
Blue skies and green trees
Everyone warned me that San Francisco wasn’t always sunny. I’m here to tell you that for all 8 days I was in town, the sun shined brightly and beautifully. Perhaps the city liked me as much as I liked it.
