My Guest Appearance on a Travel Comedy Podcast
While at TBEX, I got to meet a lot of completely awesome people. One of those people happened to be a comedian named Jon Selig. After we had a brief misunderstanding in which he thought there might be another travel blogger named Rease and I thought I might have to kill a bitch, we discovered that Iw as in fact the Rease he had heard of. He invited me to be the very first travel blogger to appear on his travel comedy podcast, and I happily accepted.
My part starts around 15 minutes, but I highly suggest listening to the whole episode. You can also access it here, on the go.
Some quick notes about these people
I stole this from their website, with Jon’s permission of course.
Imagine Travel meeting (and hooking up with) Comedy at some non-profit, ecotourist hostel. The two then catch a chicken bus to quaint, authentic village so they can hang out with other passions of westerners? If you can, then this could be the podcast for you! Even if your imagination’s not that absurd, you’ll probably still like it!
Stand-up comic & host of the Comedy Hostel Podcast Jon Selig (@jonselig on Twitter) genuinely enjoys travelling (he isn’t able to do it as much as he wants to, but that’s a different story). Travel – and the travellers he meets – provides his best source of material.
Twice monthly, Jon is joined by one of his stand-up friends/casual acquaintances to interview a guest from the world of either travel, comedy, or travelomedy. We’re trying to coin this term, so just use it, OK?
These include global travel bloggers/vloggers, musicians, authors, Montreal-ly types, and whoever else Jon finds interesting.
So please take the time to visit their site (or even their hostel!) and listen to some awesome podcasts.
