Summer Vacation Photo Essay

Summer vacation isn’t over yet, but I feel like I already have already seen so much. It’s funny how no matter what job I have, I still think of summer as a vacation. There is just something about summer that feels special. Even though I have spent a large portion of my summer melting in the heat of St. Louis (which seems to be stuck in a 3 month long 3 digit heat wave with humidity through the roof) I have still had a lot of fun. I’ve also had the pleasure of visiting Loreto, Mexico, Los Angeles, CA, Washington D.C., Baltimore/Annapolis, MD, Denver/Keystone, CO, and Columbia, MO. So, in honor of this wonderful, travel-filled summer vacation, here is a photo essay of my summer thus far.

Hanging out with Suzanne and Ayngelina in Loreto, Mexico

Wooden bars on a window in an old church in Loreto, Mexico.

Canals near Venice Beach in Los Angeles, CA

Lincoln Memorial in Washington, DC

The Washington Monument

City Park in Washington, DC

Keystone, Colorado

Hanging out with my 2 college roommates, Rachel and Abby, in Columbia, MO for Abby’s bachelorette party. Please note our alcoholic slushies and ridiculous paintings.

Forest Park in St. Louis, MO on my 25th birthday

Here’s hoping the rest of my summer holds just as much fun, excitement, and beauty.
