Photo Essay: Buenos Aires Through Expat Eyes

There are a lot of differences between the life of a traveler and the life of an expat, one of them is how you see the city you are in. As a visitor, you want to see the greatest, most memorable things. As a local, I like to find humor and beauty in the city I currently call home. This photo essay is a collection of photos of life in the city.
This city is nonstop, but they take orderly lines for the bus very seriously!
In the Spring the city is covered in these Dr. Seuss-esque purple trees.
I love the random palm trees throughout the city.
I rented bikes with a friend one day. It was really fun and only partially terrifying on the busy streets.

While bike riding I stumbled upon this mini Christmas land made of recycled materials.

Since I live close to this lake, it's easy to overlook. I'm glad I really appreciated it on Christmas day.
